The most meaningful beautiful piece of jewellery thank you

This arrived at the perfect time today 💙 it’s made with my breastmilk and birthstones for my boys 💙 I added some opal flecks to match with my other meaningful ring.

Now we are in full blown toddler stage some days can be super tough 😑 but this ring is the perfect reminder that nothing is or will ever be as tough as the early days with the twins.

Whilst they were in NICU I would express milk for them every 3 hours, setting alarms throughout the night to continue expressing. One because they aren’t allowed formula in NICU and two, because it’s the only thing I could do myself to care for them. It’s incredibly hard to express milk when you are not with your baby, it’s harder to relax and release the hormone. I would sit there with fabric swabs of the boys scent and watch videos and photos of them on my phone to help me express. For 10 weeks.

That is tough, heartbreakingly tough.
